NAAN BREAD (FOOLPROOF) 4 Naans • Soft • Fluffy • Easy

YOU’LL NEED:


• 1 cup plain flour

• ½ tsp sugar

• ½ tsp salt

• ½ tsp baking powder

• ¼ cup warm water

• 3 tbsp Greek yoghurt

• 1 tbsp oil or melted butter


METHOD

  1. Mix flour, sugar, salt + baking powder.

  2. Add warm water, yoghurt + oil. Stir until a soft dough forms.

  3. Knead 1–2 minutes until smooth.

  4. Cover + rest for 20 minutes.

  5. Divide into 4 balls, roll into oval shapes (4–5mm thick).

  6. Cook on a hot pan. When bubbles appear, flip.

  7. Brush with butter or garlic butter.



TIP:

• Pan too hot? Naan burns before cooking

• Pan too cold? Naan stays pal

• Medium-high heat is perfect.
